F10 – Baskets, Baskets, Baskets by Marilyn Crockett
The student will complete 1 or 2 basic baskets in class and be
given the materials and instructions to complete 6 more after class, in a choice
of styles. Working with 3-ply waxed linen thread from Ireland and covered wire,
the student will be taught armatures, basic weaving, 2 or 3 edge finishing techniques,
handle planning and wrapping, and 1 or 2 patterns. Bring wire clippers, Tacky
and a ruler.
Minimum skill level: Beginner 1” Scale $57
