F7 - Asian Theme Room Box by Karen Benson

During class you will construct a laser cut Asian Theme Room Box and then finish the exterior of the box by painting or staining. The interior dimensions are 4 ½” wide, 2 ¾” deep and 2 ½” high. The small top roof area is removable to allow extra light into the room when viewing. It can be filled with furniture or you may wish to finish it as shown with the Oriental Garden as taught in Sally Manwell's Saturday workshop. Her workshop is designed to compliement this room box, and includes the shoji screens separating the garden from the small room area as shown. This class includes the room box only; the interior garden will be taught in workshop S8.
