Have you ever visited Greenville?  Well, if you haven’t had the opportunity to visit our fair city, you have missed a real treat.  Greenville is located in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains.  The Hyatt Regency, location of our houseparty is in the center of a thriving and lively downtown.  More than 50 restaurants, galleries and museums are within walking distance of the Hyatt.

If you are looking for a wonderful get away weekend surrounded by miniatures, Greenville is the venue for you.   Whether you are new to smaller scales or an experienced miniaturist, there are many fabulous opportunities waiting for you.

Are you curious about what is planned for the Houseparty?   To show you just a little of what is in store for guests at the Houseparty, we are giving you a sneak preview of the Thursday Evening Workshop project, 'The Oval Office in Quarter Inch Scale.'   Although the furnishings you see pictured are not included in the workshop, participants will receive some great gifts to begin furnishing the space. The outside dimensions of the room box are 7-3/4" wide X 6-1/2" deep X 5" high, a true-to-scale representation of the very impressive size of the real Oval Office.  Workshop Registration opens on June 13.  The application form and fee information will be available on this web site soon.  We hope you will register for the Houseparty and join us for this fun-filled workshop on Thursday evening, September 18, 2008, 6:30 p.m. - 11:00 p.m.
