1" Scale Cutesy Shelf Unit

This whimsical shelf unit is 1" scale and about 2 ¾" High x 2 5/16" Wide x 1 1/8 " Deep.
This idea will make a good club project (there are enough Tiny Turnings to make 5 units)
Or just a project for yourself.

Assembly

Put glue in the bottom 3 grooves (all around) of 2 legs and lay them down on the work surface. Put the narrow end of the bottom (#1, largest notched ) shelf into the bottom grooves of the 2 legs. The shelf will be sticking straight up into the air. Put the narrow end of shelf (#2) into the next set of grooves. Put shelf (#3) into the next set of grooves. Put the top of the leg ends in the small projection with NO glue. Put glue into the bottom 3 grooves on leg 3 and put into the 3 shelves. In a similar manner put on the 4th leg.

Stand the piece up on the feet. Adjust as required to get the front and side slopes correct.
Put glue around the 4 top projections and add the inner top. Adjust side and front slopes as required. Let set up for at least 15 minutes. Put glue on the outside corners of grooves to fill the grooves where needed. Let stand until firm. Sand the top on sandpaper until the legs are level with the inner top. Glue top onto the inner top. Add a small weight until all joints are dry.

Let sit overnight. Sand as required. Paint any color. Enjoy --GWE
